Kylian Mbappe next club odds: Real Madrid still favourites to sign PSG superstar

Real Madrid remain the favourites to sign PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe with the Spanish side in the market for a striker following the announcement of Karim Benzema's departure.

Los Blancos are 6/1 favourites with talkSPORT BET's transfer odds to sign the France international, leading the likes Newcastle and Manchester City in the hunt for the World Cup winner.

The French World Cup winner has been linked with a move away from PSG for a few transfer windows now, and Real Madrid has long been thought of as the natural destination for the forward.

The 24-year-old has spent six seasons at PSG, scoring a staggering 212 goals and picking up 98 assists in his 260 matches for the Parisians.

The forward has two years remaining on his three year deal that he signed last summer, though could find himself leaving the French capital this summer.

Real Madrid announced the departure of their long serving striker Karim Benzema to Saudi Arabia, and are now in the market to find a capable replacement.

Harry Kane has been rumoured to interest the owners at the Bernabeu, but the Englishman is 30-years-old and Tottenham are thought to want upwards of £100million for him which the Madrid hierarchy might not be prepared to spend.

PSG have also announced the departure of one of their star players in Lionel Messi, who appears to be on his way to Inter Miami, with fellow star Neymar also rumoured to be heading for the exit in Paris.

Mbappe has won every domestic trophy available to him in France on multiple occasions but is still yet to earn himself a Champions League winners' medal, something that may be with in grasp should he move to Madrid and join the competition's most successful club.

  • Real Madrid - 6/1
  • Newcastle - 14/1
  • Manchester City - 16/1
  • Any Italian club - 16/1
  • Liverpool - 20/1
  • Bayern Munich - 25/1

Newcastle have also been mentioned in the same breath as Mbappe following the Magpies' takeover, which has made them potentially the richest club in the world.

Eddie Howe's side secured an unlikely top four Premier League finish in the season that's just finished meaning Champions League football will be making its way to St James' Park for the first time since 2003.

Newcastle would definitely be able to afford the Frenchman but it's thought the 24-year-old might prefer a move to a more established trophy winning side.

Manchester City are also in the mix at 16/1 but having signed goal machine Erling Haaland last season, it's unlikely Pep Guardiola's side will be in the hunt for a new man to lead their line in the near future.

A potential move to Serie A is also priced at 16/1, while Liverpool and Bayern Munich are slightly further back in the pecking order at 20/1 and 25/1 respectively.
