Jose Cifuentes had a breakout season with LAFC in 2022. He led them to a historic double. CIFuences returned for his third season this year and has grown as a player.

Jose Cifuentes is being touted as a player not long for Europe. He had a great season with LAFC and went to the World Cup. CIFuences is expected to be moved to Premier League as soon as January. He signed for LA FC for $3 million in 2020. In the MLS economy, players are touted to leave and then don't move right away. Most MLS teams get lowballed in transfer offers and have to turn down lower offers. LAF signed Cefuente for a reported $ 3 million. They have an enormous bar to clear if they want to break even.
