The much-anticipated NBA season is finally here and we have a huge matchup featuring LeBron James and Lakers traveling to Denver to take on the defending champion Nuggets.

The world championship banner will be raised at Ball Arena on Tuesday night as the Nuggets sit as 4.5-point home favorites.
This is the second-straight season that LeBron James and the Lakers open on the road against the defending champions, as they fell 123-109 to the Warriors to tip off the 2022-23 season.
The underdog covered in six of eight meetings last season between these teams last year, although the Nuggets won and covered all three games at home.
The Lakers can say all they want that this is just one of 82 games and it means the same as any other game, but L.A. definitely would look some revenge for getting swept out by the Nuggets.
