Lamar Jackson NFL Player Props, Odds AFC Championship: Predictions for Chiefs vs. Ravens

Lamar Jackson leads the Baltimore Ravens against the Kansas City Chiefs in Sunday's AFC Championship Game, and our Lamar Jackson NFL player prop predictions based on the best NFL odds expect a big game from the former MVP.

Quarterback Lamar Jackson has been waiting six years for his opportunity to lead the Baltimore Ravens to a Super Bowl. He'll get his chance Sunday against the reigning champion Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game - the first hosted by the Ravens in franchise history.

Jackson will need to step up for top-seeded Baltimore to stay alive in the Super Bowl odds, though the former MVP winner — who is currently the favorite by our Super Bowl MVP odds — is a key reason why the Ravens are our top pick in our Super Bowl predictions. And he's primed for another big day on Sunday.

To complement our Chiefs vs. Ravens prediction, our Chiefs vs. Ravens NFL player props, and our Travis Kelce player props, here are our best Lamar Jackson NFL player props (odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Lamar Jackson player props

Lamar Jackson Over 64.5 rushing yards (-115 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I highlighted this bet in my NFL Championship Sunday player props and again in our NFL Expert picks for Championship Sunday, so clearly this is my favorite play as it relates to Jackson's outlook on Sunday.

There are plenty of reasons to like this wager, but I'm particularly drawn to Jackson's resilience in the face of the heaviest blitz scheme he'd ever faced last week in the Divisional Round. He responded by dicing up the Houston Texans in the quick passing game, but he also ran it 11 times for 100 yards - with 48 of those coming off four scrambles.

Jackson will almost certainly face another dose of chaos against Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, who has embraced the blitz as much as any play-caller in the NFL. He brought extra pressure on 60 of Jackson's dropbacks in four previous meetings, and Jackson has responded by clearing this rushing total in three of those four contests - including a 107-yard effort when they last faced off in 2021.

Currently, this prop is dealing at 66.5 at two of our five best sports betting sites, with Over 64.5 juiced to -130 or worse at two others, so this is the sweet spot for my favorite Ravens-related bet of the weekend.

Lamar Jackson Over 1.5 passing touchdowns (+145 via BetRivers) ⭐⭐⭐

As I've written about before, I don't tend to bet into this inherently volatile market unless I'm getting a stellar matchup or compelling plus-money value. This isn't a great matchup on paper - hence the three-star endorsement - but these odds are too good to pass up.

Jackson threw for two touchdowns in the Divisional Round last week, which came on the heels of a five-touchdown performance in his final regular-season game and a two-TD effort against the San Francisco 49ers the week before. All told, the presumptive MVP has thrown multiple touchdown passes in eight of his 17 starts (47.1%), which implies a fair price of roughly +112 for that to happen again.

So why are we fetching such a generous price here? Because the Chiefs haven't allowed multiple TDs through the air since Week 13. This is risky by nature, but this is still a bet worth making at such long odds.

Lamar Jackson to score a touchdown (+105 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐

This wouldn't be my preferred way to bet on Jackson as a rusher, as I'd rather back his yardage prop for all the reasons laid out above. But I don't mind sprinkling a bit on him reaching paydirt on Sunday, too.

Jackson hasn't been a high-volume rusher this season, but he ran for two touchdowns last week against the Texans - becoming the first player in NFL history with two rushing TDs, two passing TDs, 100 rushing yards, and a 100.0 passer rating in a single game.

He also rushed for two touchdowns the last time he faced this Chiefs defense, which allowed Josh Allen to score twice in last week's win over the Buffalo Bills. Two scores feels a little ambitious here for Jackson - though you can bet it at +700 via BetMGM - but his legs figure to be a featured part of the gameplan on Sunday.
