They are also looking to sign a mid-tier starter. They met with Rodons on Zoom earlier this week. Andrew Heaney, Taijuan Walker, Kyle Gibson, Ross Stripling and Jose Quintana are other options for the team. It's not guaranteed that they will sign Verler. He won the Cy Young Award in 2011.
