Ryan Barrow, Cameron Wright, Brett Stapley, Cole Guttman, Bobby Brink, Carter Savoie, Jack Works, Rieger Lorenz, Aidan Thompson, Jared Wright and Tristan Broz are leaving Denver. Magnus Chrona is a senior goalie at Denver. He was named to the preseason all-NCHC team after a strong season last year. In the postseason, he won a national championship. He is aiming to become the third goalie to win multiple national championships. George Kirkwood 1960 & 1961, Gerry Powers 1968 & 1969 are the other two.
Matt Davis will start in goal for the 2022-23 University of Denver Pioneers. Matt Chrona is entering his senior year and will sign with the Sharks at the end of the season. Jim Montgomery used to say that the best way to build a team is from goalie out.
