Youmans: My best bets for college football Week 5

Texas A&M is 2-0 after losing to Appalachian State on Sept. 10. They have since won over Miami and Arkansas. Their quarterback, Max Johnson, has averaged 145.5 passing yards in the last two games. The team's leading receiver, Ainias Smith, is injured. Texas A & M plays Mississippi State in Starkville on Saturday. It's their second of four consecutive games away from home. Next week they play Alabama.

Oregon State was impressive against USC. Utah will miss injured tight end Brant Kuithe. The Beavers' biggest concern is containing the Utes' ground attack.

Iowa was a 21-point favorite when it upset No. 2 Michigan 14-13 in 2016. The Hawkeyes have been good at home, beating five of the past six Top 5-ranked teams to visit Kinnick Stadium. Michigan's offense is currently a mess. Iowa's strength is their run defense.

Auburn is a +8 favorite over Louisiana State. There is speculation that coach Bryan Harsin is about to be fired. LSU is 2-3 in its past 5 trips to Auburn.

Nebraska has the better offense with quarterback Casey Thompson and running back Anthony Grant. The Hoosiers are 3-1 and 4-2-0 against the spread. Arkansas is strong on the offensive and defensive lines and KJ Jefferson made a costly mistake in the loss to Texas A&M.
