Meanwhile, the Detroit Pistons have been in a real slump as they've lost seven of their last nine games overall and they will be hoping to snap a four-game skid after getting routed by the Pacers in a 129-115 road loss on Thursday. Cade Cunningham led the team with 30 points and eight assists on 13 of 21 shooting, Jalen Duren added 15 points with 13 rebounds while Simone Fontecchio and Jaden Ivey scored 14 points apiece. As a team, the Pistons shot 52 percent from the field and 12 of 30 from the 3-point line, but they were never really in the contest in this one after leaking 42 points in the first quarter to fall behind by as many as 31 points before halftime. The Pistons did show some fight as they exploded for 45 points in the third quarter, but they were never really a threat as they lost their third straight game by double digits.

The Magic are still a little short handed with Markelle Fultz already ruled out, while the Pistons are still without Isaiah Stewart. The Magic are coming into this meeting with plenty momentum and they will be full of confidence following their gritty win over the red-hot Cavaliers on Thursday. In contrast, the Pistons have continued their downward spiral and are now looking to avoid a fifth defeat and I just don't see that happening against this in-form Magic squad. The line is reasonable for this one, so I'm happy to lay the points and go with the Magic in this spot.
