Make It Big wins Springboard Mile, Kentucky Derby points
Make It Big won the Springboard Mile for 2-year-olds at Remington Park on Friday night. He earned 10 qualifying points in the 2022 Kentucky Derby standings. The other horse earning points was runner-up Osbourne. Concept and Classic Moment, both from trainer Steve Asmussen’s barn, competed with Lasix. Make It Bill has never raced on Lasik. He won his first two races at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale, Florida. His third win was on Oct. 9. It was his maiden on October. 30. Sarah Shaffer, trainer Saffie Joseph, Jr.”s assistant, was at the race.
