Man City Premier League schedule: Remaining fixtures, points prediction for 2024 title run-in

Once again, Manchester City find themselves in a battle with Liverpool for the Premier League title.

This time, however, they also have Arsenal to contend with. While the Gunners were right in the mix until they faded badly a year ago, Mikel Arteta's team look in better shape to sustain a challenge in 2023/24.

With just two points separating the top three with 11 matches to go, all eyes will be on their respective fixture schedules between now and the final day of the season on May 19. Man City, fresh from a 3-1 derby win over Manchester United, have a handful of eminently winnable games interspersed between some seriously difficult-looking challenges.

Here, The Sporting News breaks down Man City's remaining schedule, plus a points prediction for the games they have coming up, based on this season's form and the result in the same game in 2022/23. Will they manage to make it a record-breaking four Premier League titles in a row?

Man City Premier League schedule: Remaining fixtures for 2024

Man City have got 10 games left in the 2023/24 Premier League season. Five of them are at home at the Etihad Stadium, and five are away matches.

Man City prediction for run-in 2023/24: How many points will they get?

Man City have a handful of difficult matches remaining in the Premier League in 2023/24, plus some more winnable games on paper. After a tense and enthralling 1-1 draw at Liverpool, here's a run-down of those fixtures, and a prediction of how many points they might expect to get.

Brighton (A): TBD

Brighton have found it difficult to balance league and European commitments at times this season and there is a concern their campaign is beginning to fizzle out. If the rescheduling of this game is kind, City will be confident of another win.

Result last season: Brighton 1-1 Man City
Prediction this season: Brighton 1-3 Man City

Arsenal (H): March 31

This is perhaps City's biggest remaining test: Arsenal have been in tremendous form in 2024, and a repeat of their 4-1 thrashing at a similar stage of last season feels highly unlikely. With the Gunners behind them in the table, City would consider a draw a decent result, particularly if they beat Liverpool as well.

Result last season: Man City 4-1 Arsenal
Prediction this season: Man City 2-2 Arsenal

Aston Villa (H): April 3

Villa are flying high this season and produced a superb performance to beat City in the reverse fixture, but that high defensive line looks ripe for the picking at the Etihad.

Result last season: Man City 3-1 Aston Villa
Prediction this season: Man City 3-1 Aston Villa

Crystal Palace (A): April 6

Palace can be obdurate opponents at home, but this is the sort of match City will expect to control from start to finish. If they get the first goal, a comfortable win is on the cards.

Result last season: Crystal Palace 0-1 Man City
Prediction this season: Crystal Palace 0-2 Man City

Luton Town (H): April 13

Luton have given some of the big boys a real scare at Kenilworth Road this season, but away games are a different proposition. It's hard to see them keeping City at bay.

Result last season: N/A
Prediction this season: Man City 3-0 Luton Town

Tottenham (A): April 20

This is probably the last game City will genuinely fear. They have a lousy record at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, their FA Cup victory there earlier this season ending a run of five consecutive losses without even scoring a goal. After a 3-3 draw at the Etihad in the reverse game, another exciting draw could be on the cards.

Result last season: Tottenham 1-0 Man City
Prediction this season: Tottenham 2-2 Man City

Nottingham Forest (A): April 27

Forest held City to a draw here last season and almost did the same to Liverpool in early 2024, but it's difficult to envisage them keeping the champions at arm's length.

Result last season: Nottingham Forest 1-1 Man City
Prediction this season: Nottingham Forest 0-3 Man City

Wolves (H): May 4

Wolves are having a great season and could still be in a European hunt come the beginning of May. They have the weapons to trouble City, but Pep Guardiola's men know what it takes to grind out key victories at the business end of a season.

Result last season: Man City 3-0 Wolves
Prediction this season: Man City 2-1 Wolves

Fulham (A): May 11

City were narrow winners here last season and you wouldn't expect them to run away with it on their next visit. However, this could be the weekend they clinch the title — don't expect them to blink now.

Result last season: Fulham 1-2 Man City
Prediction this season: Fulham 1-3 Man City

West Ham (H): May 19

West Ham haven't had a good time of it against the Premier League's best sides, and they lost this game 3-0 last season. City will either be in party mode or will need a result to become champions. Either way, West Ham are not likely to have enough to stop them.

Result last season: Man City 3-0 West Ham
Prediction this season: Man City 4-1 West Ham

Man City predicted final points tally in 2023/24: 89

Predicted final Premier League table 2023/24

Based on our predicted results, Man City will finish top of the Premier League this season, three points above Liverpool and Arsenal. The Gunners are set to be edged into third place by a single point.

It'll be fascinating to see how this title battle plays out in real time...
