In the concluding chapter of their Asia summer tour, Manchester City take on Atletico Madrid in the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Sunday 30th July at 12pm BST.

By the time this fixture comes around, Man City will be a week out from the start of their season: a Community Shield curtain raiser against Arsenal at Wembley on August 6th. The Cityzens have featured in two pre-season outings so far, chalking off a 5-3 victory over Japanese outfit Yokohama F Marinos before defeating Bayern Munich 2-1 in the first test vs elite European level opposition.

The Spaniards, on the other hand, have only dipped their toes back in, suffering a 3-2 defeat to a team of K-League All Stars in an exhibition match on Thursday. It was a game of two halves - the first of which Atletico cruised through before a dominant second half showing from the hosts toppled over the European giant.

Sizing up the match odds, City are as short as 4/9 to overcome the challenge of Atletico. Madrid represent a 28/5 shot for those who fancy a hopeful flutter, while the draw can be grabbed at 10/3 with a number of different firms.

Although this game is only a friendly, it's their final outing before next weekend's Community Shield fixture which is when the season truly begins. City won't want to give Arsenal any perceived advantage by winning that match, so the final preparations are key.

That means we could see Guardiola send out a team that looks a lot closer to the XI who will face Arsenal, with issuing as many minutes as possible to regular starters considered a priority.
