Manchester United's December 2022 Preview: Schedule & Predictions

Alejandro Garnacho scored a 93rd-minute winner to give Manchester United a late win over Fulham. Manchester Utd are three points off fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur with a game in hand. The Red Devils will start their Premier League campaign following the 2022 World Cup on December 27. They are due to play Burnley in the Carabao Cup fourth round three days after the World cup final on Dec 18.

Manchester United play Burnley in the Carabao Cup fourth round on December 21. United beat Aston Villa 4-2 in third round of the Cup competition. Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea were all eliminated in their third-round ties.

Nottingham Forest host Manchester United at Old Trafford on December 27th. Forest have suffered some heavy defeats this season but also registered surprise wins over Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur. Dean Henderson is ineligible to play for Forest.

Manchester United will play Wolves on the road on New Year's Eve. The Red Devils were beaten 1-0 by Wolves in January. United have scored two goals in just one of the last 11 games against Wolves. Wolves have been poor in front of goal this season, scoring just eight goals from 15 games.
