Maple Leafs’ Matt Murray Expected to Start Entire Game vs. Canadiens, Top Stars in Action, Where to Watch
Matt Murray is expected to start for Toronto Maple Leafs against Montreal Canadiens. He made 16 saves on 16 shots over 40 minutes in their 3-0 pre-season victory last week. Murray will start in goal for two of the remaining three pre season games. The Maple Leaf's season opener is on October 12 against the Washington Capitals. Defensemen Rasmus Sandin and Jake Muzzin will stay back. Calle Jarnkrok missed practice on Sunday because he wasn't feeling well. He was also left off the Monday lineup. David Kampf skated with the second group. It was Sandins first full practice since signing a two-year, $2.8 million contract to remain with Maple Leaves.
