Maple Leafs same-game parlay predictions vs. Stars Oct. 26: Bet on Nylander and Toronto at +250

The Toronto Maple Leafs look for their third straight win tonight when they take on the Dallas Stars.

The pregame narrative: Dallas (4-0-1) has yet to lose a game in regulation but it's not blowing teams out. Its opponents have covered a +1.5 puck line in all but one contest and that has us backing Toronto as an underdog. We're not expecting a ton of offence, but William Nylander should still get on the board.

Same-game parlay Maple Leafs predictions

Parlay: Leafs +1.5 + Under 6.5 goals + Nylander to score a point (+250)

Maple Leafs +1.5 (-245): Outside of Dallas' most recent 4-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins its opponents have kept everything within a goal. We like Toronto's prospects of winning this game outright (+104) but will take them as a puck line dog just to be safe.

The Buds have ripped off back-to-back victories, scoring four goals in each contest. They're now 4-2-0 on the season, scoring 3.67 goals per game (10th-best in NHL).

At the time of writing, it's unclear if Joseph Woll will get the net tonight. But we see no reason for Sheldon Keefe to cool off a hot goalie. Toronto's rookie has allowed just one goal in his last two outings and he owns a .958 save percentage through three games.

Other parlay picks

Under 6.5 goals (-136): Woll has been great, but the guy across from him has been even better. Jake Oettinger is 3-0-1 this season with a 1.44 GAA and .952 SV%. All four of his starts have fallen comfortably under this total, too, with no game having more than five total goals.

Dallas is a strong defensive team but it has trouble putting the puck in the net, scoring an average of 3.00 goals per game. We're expecting this to be a bit of a defensive slog.

Nylander to record a point (-240): A slog doesn't mean a shutout, though, and Nylander has come out of the gates firing. The Swede has found the stat sheet in all six of Toronto's games with five goals and 10 total points.

He's averaging a career-high 20:07 of ice time and is always a threat to bang one in on the Leafs' elite power play. Toronto is scoring at a 35.0% clip on the man advantage, which is the fourth-best rate in the league.

Plus, the man is in a contract year, so every point means just a little bit more.
