Mark Best on Jersey, Doncaster and the Championship

Mark Best played rugby for Jersey for three seasons. He has recently joined Doncaster. Best worked for an estate agency in Belfast before playing rugby in the All Ireland League for Belfast Harlequins. After two years of representing the U20s, he got an academy development contract with Ulster. The Championship has been struggling financially recently. Mark Best is disappointed with the lack of guidance from Bill Sweeney. Best was injured in November and considered retiring. He signed a contract with Doncaster Knights prior to February 12. He has a girlfriend in Belfast and she can't move to Doncasters. The pay cuts have been a disaster for boys. Mark hopes Donsters will push on and perform well. They need to play their Premiership games in the autumn. Saracens have to wait until November for pre-season. There is no pre season for the Championship. It is frustrating. New Zealand have preseason games already. Rugby is a struggle. If you are injured it is worth having a plate and screws in your arm when you could just have a normal job.
