Maryland Mobile Betting Further Delayed
Maryland is not ready to launch mobile sports betting by September 8th. The bill to legalize sports gambling in Maryland in May 2021 is still not implemented. 90% of sports bets occur online in the US.
Maryland Mobile Sportsbook is further delayed. The deadline for launching is Super Bowl 57. An industry analysis is still being done. Once approved, there is a 45-day waiting period to allow applicants to apply. It could take even longer if the amount of applications is higher than expected.
