Two Pac-12 showdowns close out Week 12’s national action. This week's schedule is light, but there will be an expanded schedule next week.
No. 4 TCU is playing at home against Baylor. The game is on FOX at 12:00 p.m. TCU beat Texas 17-10 last week. Baylor lost to Kansas State last time out. Blake Shapen has had a bad game and has five interceptions in the last four games. Richard Reese has disappeared. TCU needs to win to make the CFP.
No. 15 Kansas State is playing at home against West Virginia at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The game is a key one for Kansas state as they are in the driver's seat for the Big 12 Championship Game. West Vevra is struggling under head coach Neal Brown.
Georgia is the favorite to beat Kentucky. The game is on CBS at 3:30 p.m. Georgia just beat Mississippi State 45-19. Kentucky lost at home to Vanderbilt last week. The Wildcats are three points behind the defending national champions.
No. 14 Ole Miss is playing Arkansas at 7:30 p.m. on the SEC Network. Arkansas has lost their last two games to Liberty and LSU. Raheim Sanders has rushed for 1,147 yards and seven touchdowns this year. Quinshon Judkins has been one of the most exciting freshmen in the country this season.
No. 22 Oklahoma State takes on No. 7 Oklahoma. The Cowboys had a rough stretch over the last month, losing three of four games before beating Iowa State last week. Spencer Sanders will start at quarterback for the Cowboys. Oklahoma is struggling to become bowl eligible in coach Brent Venables' first year in Norman.
No. 7 USC is playing against No. 16 UCLA. USC's running back Travis Dye is injured. UCLA's last game was against Arizona. The Bruins lost to Arizona last week. Oklahoma State beats Oklahoma 30-37. California and UCLA are going to play for the Pac-12 Championship Game. They are both good teams.
No. 10 Utah takes on No. 12 Oregon at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday. Last year Utah used a couple wins over Oregon to propel themselves to a Pac-12 title and a spot in the Rose Bowl. The Utes have won their last four games. Oregon lost to Washington last week.
