Christian Walker leads the Diamondbacks with 33 home runs and 103 RBIs while Ketel Marte has 157 hits and a .276 batting average. Corbin Carroll also has 25 home runs and a team-high 161 hits and 54 stolen bases with a .285 batting average, and is the leading candidate for Rookie of the Year in the National League. Brandon Pfaadt will get the start in game one and was 3-9 with a 5.72 ERA and 94 strikeouts in the regular season.

Brew Crew Hoping To Keep Rolling In Postseason

The Milwaukee Brewers enter the playoffs as the winners of the NL Central, finishing with a record of 92-70 on the year. William Contreras leads the Brewers with 157 hits and 38 doubles, while Christian Yelich has 76 RBIs and a .278 batting average as well as a .370 OBP. Willy Adames comes in with a team-leading 24 home runs and 80 RBIs and has the unfortunate distinction of leading the Brewers with 165 strikeouts this season. Corbin Burnes will get the start for the Brewers here and was 10-8 with a 3.39 ERA and 200 strikeouts in the regular season.

I’m taking Arizona +1.5 here. It may be paying up a bit, but I think this has potential to be a back and forth series, and while I’d much rather have another starter than Pfaadt, I haven’t been impressed with Burnes for much of the year and I think the Diamondbacks hold a bit of value in a spot like this. I’ll take my chances that Arizona keeps it a one run game if they don’t win it outright.
