The Gophers lost to Iowa on Saturday. Ohio State and Michigan looked weak. Tennessee lost against a mid-tier team. Michigan State was upset by Indiana. Quick Lane Bowl is one of three possible destinations for Minnesota.  The Quick lane bowl is in Detroit. Minnesota could be headed to Detroit for the Quicklane Bowl on November 23rd.

Michigan State lost to Indiana in double overtime. The team needs to beat #11 Penn State to get their sixth win to make the Quick Lane Bowl. Minnesota is expected to play in the Gopher Football Bowl on November 23rd.

Both Michigan and Ohio State are likely to make the playoffs. If they do, Penn State would be in the New Year's Six game. The latest playoff rankings have Tennessee ahead of Penn. Penn has a game against a weak Michigan State team. The Nittany Lions are most likely going to play in a New Years Six. They are also in contention for the at-large Cotton Bowl slot. A Pac-12 team that loses in Big 12 championship game would also be a possibility. Oregon losing to Oregon State is more likely than winning the championship. Minnesota Gophers are expected to be playing in New years six. Their game is on November 23rd.
