Missouri football starts the 121st season against Louisiana Tech. The game will be played at night. There are a number of debuts for the Tigers this season. They are aiming to improve on last year's 6-7 record. LouisianaTech will play for first time at Faurot Field. They will have a new head coach, Sonny Cumbie, and a starting quarterback, Matthew Downing.

Luther Burden, a freshman wide receiver, is getting his first college snaps for Missouri against Lousiana Tech.

Trajan Jeffcoat is two years removed from his first-team all-SEC selection in 2020.

Matt Downing is the new starting quarterback for the Bulldogs. He transferred from TCU and Georgia.

Levi Bell played only four games in 2021 but he still finished second on the team with three sacks. Connor Tollison is expected to start his first game at center.
