Mizzou's Eli Drinkwitz Looking For QB to 'Prove' Starter Mentality

Eli Drinkwitz is looking for a new starting quarterback for the Missouri team. Connor Bazelak left the team for Indiana this summer. Jack Abraham is the favorite, but he has only played 27 games for Southern Miss. Brady Cook and Tyler Macon have taken some practice reps in Drinkowitz's offense. Sam Horn is a standout athlete who is waiting for an MLB draft. He played for Northwest Mississippi Community College. The team plays its first game against Louisiana Tech in the season opener. It's the first time Drinkowski has changed the starting QB since he was hired from Appalachian State.
