MLB Free Agents 2022: Latest Rumors, Predictions for Aaron Judge, Jacob deGrom, More

The MLB free agent market is already buzzing. Edwin Díaz signed a nine-figure contract with the New York Mets. Aaron Judge, Jacob deGrom and others are expected to sign in 2022.

Aaron Judge hit 62 home runs, 131 RBI and scored 133 runs last season. Pete Alonso and the Yankees have a chance to sign him. The executive is more confident about the chances than before. He predicts that Judge signs an eight-year, $300 million contract with the San Francisco Giants.

Jacob deGrom is a two-time Cy Young Award winner. He has a career ERA of 2.52 and has more than 13 strikeouts per nine innings for the last three seasons. The New York Mets want to keep him, but he's getting older and they may not be able to afford it.

Xander Bogaerts is a free agent. Boston Red Sox offered him a one-year extension at $20 million in the spring. He is not interested in it. Bowaert's is expected to sign a seven-years, $210 million deal with the Philadelphia Phillies.
