The Yankees lost the ALCS to the Houston Astros in four games. The team that has been the Yankees' bogeyman for the last six seasons was always going to crush their little brothers and win the AL pennant. PSA's experts had the series as a toss-up and they picked the Yanks to advance. The Yankees are not unbeatable and the Astros are far from a slam-dunk team. They are a team with a lot of flaws. Before the game, 12 of 17 of PSC's analysts picked them to win. It was close. FanGraphs had them as 54-46 favorites, Baseball Prospectus had Houston at 56-44.
