MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (4/6)

With baseball back in full swing, here are some of our favorite MLB Same Game Parlays for today.

Thursday’s Best MLB Same Game Parlay Bets

Boston Red Sox vs. Detroit Tigers

    • Leg 1: Red Sox Moneyline (-145)
    • Leg 2: Player to get 1+ RBIs: Rafael Devers (+155)
    • Leg 3: Player to get 2+ Total Bases: Alex Verdugo (+105)
    • Leg 4: Race to 3 Runs: Red Sox (-135)

The Boston Red Sox had a rough beginning to their 2023 season, including today’s starting pitcher, Chris Sale. We knew this pitching staff had a lot of questions coming into the season, but if Corey Kluber and Chris Sale continue at this pace, it will be a very long season for the Red Sox. Look for Sale to try and get back to his old form today against a Tigers offense with a lot of lefty hitters, creating a plus matchup for Sale. After getting swept by the Pirates at home, look for the Red Sox to get it done today at Detroit. Rafael Devers struggled against Pittsburgh (1-12 in the series), but I like him to knock in a run today in a good lefty-versus-righty matchup. There should be plenty of opportunities to score in this game, as these teams are 28th and 29th in the league in pitching ERA. I like Alex Verdugo to get 2+ bases in the last leg as he has done this in four out of six games to start the season and also has a good matchup against the right-handed Spencer Turnbull.

Parlay Odds: +525

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Kansas City Royals

    • Leg 1: Blue Jays Moneyline (-195)
    • Leg 2: Whit Merrifield 1+ Total Bases (-225)
    • Leg 3: Daulton Varsho 1+ RBIs (+185)
    • Leg 4: Race to 3 Runs: Blue Jays (-175)

After losing their opening series in St. Louis, the Blue Jays have won the last two out of three against the Royals and seem to be back on track. I expect them to close out this series with a win and get out to a fast start against Royals starter Jordan Lyles. Whit Merrifield is back in Kansas City against his former team and is riding a 3-game hitting streak. I expect the former MLB hits leader to get a hit in this one. The Blue Jays’ free-agent pickup, Daulton Varsho, has been red-hot to start 2023 with his new squad. On Wednesday, Varsho went 3-4 as the Blue Jays cruised for another win. I don’t see him slowing down anytime soon, and he draws a nice lefty-versus-righty matchup today against Lyles. Look for Varsho to knock in a run today with the studs in front of him in the order.

Parlay Odds: +425

San Francisco Giants vs. Chicago White Sox

    • Leg 1: Giants Moneyline (+110)
    • Leg 2: Tim Anderson 1+ Total Bases (-390)
    • Leg 3: Mike Yastrzemski 1+ Total Bases (-150)
    • Leg 4: Joe Pederson 1+ Total Bases (-165)

This should be one of the best games of the day with two evenly-matched teams. Look for the Giants to come out and win their first series of the 2023 season in Chicago. Joe Pederson has recorded 1+ bases in each game this series, and he draws another good matchup against the righty Lance Lynn. I expect him to come up big in this game with a big hit to help the Giants pull off the upset.

After getting ejected in the last game, Tim Anderson should be ready to go in this one, as he’s been hitless (0-6) so far in this series. Look for the leadoff hitter to settle back in today and get his first hit in the series. Mike Yastrzemski went 0-5 yesterday after starting the series opener with a 2-3 performance. He draws a good matchup against Lynn also, and I like him to get a hit early or against the White Sox bullpen later on in this game.
