MLB Spring Training: Grapefruit League Odds and Picks

As springtime rapidly approaches, it’s time to start thinking about formulating a strategy for your MLB Spring Training bets. Despite MLB Spring Training being considered exhibition baseball, there is money to be made at the best MLB betting sites.

There are two designated leagues for MLB Spring Training: the Grapefruit League and the Cactus League. The Grapefruit League will host 15 teams in Florida, while the other 15 clubs will be in Arizona for the Cactus League. Here, you’ll find the latest odds and predictions for the Florida Grapefruit League, so you can start prepping for your Spring Training betting journey!

MLB Spring Training Bets

It’s important to note that not all online sportsbooks will offer MLB Spring Training odds. It’s still a little early, so some odds are not available yet. However, these sportsbooks are guaranteed to have the odds as we approach the Sprint Training schedule:

MLB Grapefruit League Odds

Currently, odds to finish atop the Grapefruit League standings are not available. However, that isn’t going to prevent us from making our MLB Training Camp predictions for the Grapefruit League.

While the odds have not been posted yet, we can still provide our 2024 Grapefruit League predictions. In our opinion, the best bet and most dangerous team in the Grapefruit League will be the Baltimore Orioles.

There are a few reasons to like the Orioles this year. First, the Orioles are one of the fastest up-and-comers in MLB. Last season, the Orioles finished 101-61 to capture the AL East after an 83-79 campaign in 2022.

In 2023, the Orioles were one of the youngest teams in the Majors. The Orioles’ average roster age was a respectable 28.2 years old. Additionally, the No. 1 prospect in baseball could be on the Orioles’ Opening Day roster.

The Orioles do not have a second baseman for their Opening Day roster. Top prospect 20-year-old Jackson Holliday is scheduled to play second in the preseason. With a strong spring, Holliday should be an Opening Day starter.

In addition to Holliday, highly-coveted prospects Coby Mayo, Samuel Basallo, and Colton Cowser have been invited to the Orioles’ camp. All four players are top-30 MLB prospects.

With the highest-rated farm system in MLB, the Orioles are our top bet in MLB Spring Training’s Grapefruit League. We are confident that tailing the Orioles will result in a positive ROI in Spring Training.
