Moir Stakes night at Moonee Valley Tips, Race Previews and Selections

The Ladbrokes Friday Night Lights season gets underway at The Valley this week. The 2022 Moir Stakes has attracted an excellent field of sprinters.

El Padrino has an excellent chance to return to winning form in the Aspect Kitchen Plate.

Queen Of The Ball is the favourite in the Scarborough Stakes. Blake Shinn will take her to the front in early stages. Queen Of the Ball finished fourth in Silver Shadow Stake.

Snapper has an excellent record at The Valley and he can upstage Clemenceau in this contest. Logan McNeil will be able to ride him aggressively in the early stages of the contest and Snapper can improve his record.

Brosnan is going to race in the Stutt Stakes (1600m) on Sunday. He was excellent in JJ Atkins during the Brisbane Winter Racing Carnival and his first-up run in Ming Dynasty Quality was better than it looks on paper. Ben Melham can settle him closer to the speed from barrier six.

The Front Bar is a short course sprint specialist. Damien Oliver should be able to keep him out of the early speed battle. The Front bar has won first-up in the past.

Moir Stakes night at Moonee Valley is on Tuesday. Grand Promenade is the horse that stands out at a big price. Ben Melham will have options from the wide barrier draw.

Paulele and Rothfire are the keys to the Moir Stakes. Godolphin and James McDonald are flying. Mileva is a legitimate blowout chance at $51. The Valley is always key at The Moonee Valley.

Kissonallforcheeks looks to be the good thing of the night. Lady Of Honour is the likely leader. The Let's Elope Stakes is not any tougher than the Ladbrokes Stocks Stake.
