Moonee Valley Racing Tips & Best Odds
Moonee Valley hosts a nine-race program this Friday. The rail will be in the 4m position for the entire circuit. Racing starts at 5:15 pm AEDT.
Elite Icon is the favourite for the Benchmark 64 over 955m at the track on March 4. He has two wins and two seconds in his first career preparation. If John Allen can get him to cross the field and lead, he will be hard to get past in the concluding stages.
Tony & Calvin McEvoy will bring their progressive three-year-old colt, Redzoust, to Moonee Valley to try and record his third win at his fifth start. Red zoust won by over three lengths in both of his wins over 1100m on September 16 and 30 at Ballarat.
The Peter Moody-trained Powerful Eagle will take his place in the Class 1 Handicap over 1500m. Zoe's Promise won the Group 2 Fillies Classic at Moonee Valley on Saturday. Powerful Eagles has also run third to Berkeley Square by two lengths.
