Moore 'on the fence' as latest juvenile bids to prove Triumph Hurdle credentials
Gary Moore is hopeful that his horse Perseus Way can improve his jumping at Cheltenham on Saturday. He will line up in the JCB Triumph Trial Juvenile Hurdle (12.05) and will face Scriptwriter. Moore's squad also includes Nassalam, who will take his chance on Friday provided the rain does not arrive. Nassamal was a dual winner at the Cheltonham International last season and he is hoping to win the 2m½f handicap chase (1.15) on the card for the second year running.
David Pipe's hurdler Thomas Mor is set to be tested in the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle (3.00) on Saturday. The five-year-old built on a promising debut win at Worcester in October with a 57-length rout of his rivals at Wincanton. Pipe is keen to keep expectations grounded and is looking forward to next season.
