Mountain West announces 2022 All-Conference football teams and individual award winners. Air Force's Brad Roberts is the Offensive Player of the Year. San José State's Viliami Fehoko is Defensive Player and San Diego State punter/place-kicker Jack Browning is Special Teams Player. Boise State quarterback Taylen Green is Freshman of Year and Andy Avalos is Coach of The Year for the Mountain West.

Brad Roberts is the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year. He is first Air Force player to win the award since 2017. The 1,612 rushing yards he gained in 2022 are the most in a single season in the program history and 12th in league history.

San Diego State has earned Special Teams Player of the Year honors in five of last eight years. The Aztecs finished the regular season ranked top-10 nationally in punts inside the 20-yard line, net punting (6; 42.7), and punt average (8; 46.0).

Boise State's quarterback is the third player to earn the MW Freshman of the Year honor. He ranks fourth among FBS freshmen in passing touchdowns (12), fifth in pass yards per game (157.3), and sixth in total passing yards (1,730). On the ground, he rushed for 437 yards and eight touchdowns.

Andy Alvarez is the first Mountain West Coach of the Year. He led Boise State to a 9-3 regular season, including an 8-0 mark in MW action. Boise is one of just six FBS teams with unblemished records in conference play.
