Myles Turner can keep carrying Pacers, plus more best bets for Wednesday

Chris Bengel is back with sports picks for Wednesday. The NBA returns for a 13-game slate on Wednesday and there are also MACtion bets.

Nuggets are at Pacers, 7 p.m. Wednesday. Pacers are 5-0 ATS in their last five games. Myles Turner returned from an ankle injury to score 37 points on 11-of-18 shooting and 12 rebounds in Monday's 129-122 win over the Pelicans. Bennedict Mathurin is averaging 19.4 points per game and shooting 40.3 percent from three.

Kent State plays Bowling Green at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Kent State has lost three of its last four games in the MAC. Bowling Green has relied on its defense recently and it won last week's game against Western Michigan 13-9. The Falcons' senior quarterback Matt McDonald is completing 60.4 percent of his passes and tossing 16 touchdowns compared to just three interceptions. Kent State's defense is ranked ninth in MAC and they give up 31.6 points per game.

Bowling Green is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games after scoring less than 20 points in the previous game.

Kevin Huerter has scored at least 14 points in five of nine games this season. Huarter's last two games have been disappointing, but he had scored 22 points or more in each of the previous three games. On the season, Huurter is shooting a team-high 51.5 percent from beyond the arc.
