Naming Suzuki captain emblematic of Canadiens' new management style

Nick Suzuki is the new captain of the Montreal Canadiens. He will be flanked by Joel Edmundson and Brendan Gallagher. Jeff Gorton, Kent Hughes and Martin St. Louis are the other three men responsible for the captaincy. They are following a new management style. It's not clear if the previous administration would have chosen Suzuki as a captain. The previous captains were Maurice Richard, Jean Beliveau, Henri Richard and Yvan Cournoyer. They were nominated by their teammates. This time, the players were chosen unanimously. Montreal's owner Geoff Molson confirms the change in management.
