NBA 22/23 Weekly Preview 5

The NBA season starts on Monday, November 14. The favorite teams are Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, and Utah Jazz. Other teams like Suns, Nuggets, Mavericks, Cavaliers, Hawks, have had a great start but need to add more consecutive victories to climb positions in their respective conferences. Luka Doncic recorded his third triple-double of the regular season and 49th of his league career against Portland.

Doncic becomes the second player 25 years old or younger with the most 40-point triple-doubles. Oscar Robertson is also the leader in this section with 22, followed by James Harden with 16. Western Conference is showing excellent level of play, but some teams like Warriors and Lakers are struggling. In the East, the teams that fought last season are at the bottom of the table.

Week 5 of the NBA started on November 14th and ends on Sunday, the 20th. There were 12 games played this week. The Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns played a balanced game on Monday and Tuesday. Golden State Warriors beat San Antonio Spurs 132-95. Charlotte Hornets beat Orlando Magic 112-105. Celtics beat Thunder 126-122 and moved to the top of Eastern Conference. Wednesday and Friday will be full of big games.

The fifth week of the 2022-23 NBA season will start with Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns. The game will be played on Monday, November 14, 2022, at Miami's home, which will no longer be called the FTX Arena. Last season, both teams were fighting for the top of their respective conferences, but this time, the Suns are fighting at the the very top and the Heat are ranked #12 in the East.

The Heat have Jimmy Butler as their leading scorer with an average of 22.1 points per game. Phoenix Suns have Devin Booker and Chris Paul as the team's other stars. The Suns are in the upper zone of the Western Conference and their mission is to lead again the general classification table.

Milwaukee Bucks are leading the NBA Eastern Conference. The Bucks rely on their superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday. Cleveland Cavaliers are second in the Eastern conference. The Cavaliers have won all 3 games against the Bucks by a margin of +15 points.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are the ninth team in the league in terms of points per game average. Donovan Mitchel is having a dream season with 31.6 points and 39.1 minutes per games. The Bucks are playing at home and they will take advantage of their home condition.

The Suns have won 145 games this season, while the Warriors have only won 111. Last October 25 the Suns beat the Golden Warriors 134-105. Devin Booker is the best player on the team.

The Warriors have started the season badly and are at the bottom of the Western Conference standings. They depend on Steph Curry's offense, but they don't have enough firepower to win games.

Phoenix Suns are expected to win the game against the New York Knicks.

The Atlanta Hawks beat the Milwaukee Bucks 121-106 two days ago. They will play the Toronto Raptors on Saturday.

The Raptors have won 8 of 15 games played. They will play Miami Heat tonight and then travel to play the Hawks.
