NBA 3-point contest odds, props, prediction: Who can catch fire on NBA All-Star Saturday Night?

Three-pointers made has become a very popular NBA prop bet, and we have great news for those who enjoy it, as NBA All-Star Weekend provides the ultimate opportunity to bet on 3-pointers.

NBA 3-point contest odds are available for wagering at several top-rated sportsbooks, as are odds on other NBA All-Star Weekend events, such as the skills competition and the head-to-head 3-point shootout between Steph Curry and Sabrina Ionescu.

We’ll break down those 3-point contest odds and give you our thoughts on a winner, as well some other props to consider during the competition.

NBA 3-point contest odds, lineup, schedule

The NBA 3-point contest is part of All-Star Saturday Night, which kicks off at 8 p.m. ET on TNT.

Here’s the order of events:

  • Kia Skills Challenge
  • Starry 3-Point Contest
  • AT&T Slam Dunk

We’re focusing solely on the 3-point contest in this piece, and here are the contestants along with their odds to win (as of Friday) from FanDuel:

  • Damian Lillard +420
  • Tyrese Haliburton +440
  • Trae Young +600
  • Malik Beasley +650
  • Donovan Mitchell +700
  • Lauri Markkanen +700
  • Jalen Brunson +700
  • Karl-Anthony Towns +700

NBA 3-point contest bet to consider

Lillard is the defending champion, which is likely why he’s at the top of the odds board. He beat Haliburton and Buddy Hield in a 3-man final round to claim the crown.

He’s not the only former winner in the field, as Towns won the event in 2022.

If you’re looking strictly at 3-point percentage this season, Beasley is your guy. He has the best percentage among the field at 44.4 percent, which is seventh in the league. Towns is next at 12th in the league rankings with a 3-point percentage of 43.7.

Beasley is also 11th in the league in 3-pointers made, so it’s not like his percentage is based on low volume.

Haliburton, Lillard and Young could certainly get hot and steal the show. That’s what they do. But between the relatively friendly odds and the season numbers, give us Beasley.

Pick: Malik Beasley +650
