NBA best bets and player props for Tuesday night’s action

After a modest three-game slate on Halloween night, Wednesday brings us a loaded night of NBA betting action. There are 13 games on the docket, including several marquee matchups and superstars in action. The Celtics, Mavericks and Nuggets all take the court and look to stay unbeaten. On the other end of the spectrum, the Grizzlies and Rockets look to remove themselves from the list of last winless teams.

Overwhelmed by the full slate and don’t know where to start placing your bets? Check out our best bets and prop of the day below. We’ll show you where to place them and where you can take advantage of the best promo offers in Pennsylvania.

Since losing at home to Phoenix to open the season, the Golden State Warriors (3-1) have won three games, all on the road. Before hitting the road again for four straight games, the Warriors will spend an evening in the friendly confines of Chase Center as they welcome the Sacramento Kings (2-1). The Kings are off to a solid start themselves and are coming off a thrilling win over the Lakers. Kings guard De’Aaron Fox was outstanding, finishing with 37 points and eight assists to carry Sacramento. But Fox injured his ankle in the process and will miss Wednesday’s game in San Francisco.

Golden State should be at close to full strength as Klay Thompson is probably to return to the lineup after a one-game absence with knee soreness. Stephen Curry became the first player this season to record multiple 40-point games in their rout over New Orleans on Monday.

Without Fox in the lineup, the Kings will have trouble keeping pace with the Warriors, who will surely be happy to be home for a night. Placing this bet on Caesars feels like an easy call.

The reigning Eastern Conference champs are not off to the start they envisioned, as the Heat currently sit at 1-3 in the standings. After winning their opener against the Pistons at home, Miami embarked on a three-game road trip, dropping all three games. Now they return home to face a Nets team that swept them in the season series a year ago. The Heat hope that their return home will give them a fresh start.

The Heat may be shorthanded, so keep a close eyes on the latest news. Jimmy Butler is questionable with knee tendinitis, though Bam Adebayo is probable to return after missing Monday’s loss in Milwaukee. The Nets will likely be without Spencer Dinwiddie, so even more responsibility will be placed upon Cam Thomas, who currently ranks third in the NBA in scoring at 33 points per game.

But Thomas is shooting an almost certainly unsustainable 61.4% from the field. Expect Thomas to come down to earth against Miami, making the Heat the team to back on the FanDuel Sportsbook. Plus, the veteran Heat will be pleased to be at home following their unsuccessful road swing.

Lillard averaged a career-high 4.2 three-pointers made per game last year in Portland, but has struggled to find his shot since being traded to Milwaukee before this season. He is shooting under 40% from the field through three games and under 30% from long distance, making 2.7 threes per game.

Toronto is allowing the second-fewest made threes per game, making this a tough game to rely on Lillard to regain his shooting stroke. Lillard is one for three in reaching this number set out by DraftKings, more reason to back the under on this prop.
