NBA best bets today (Predictions for Eric Gordon, Warriors-Kings and Royce O’Neale)

There are three different Game 3s in action on Thursday night in the NBA, and I have a prop bet in each of them for today’s NBA best bets.

It’s Game 3, so why not focus on some 3-point props in the process? I have one for a Los Angeles Clippers guard at plus money, and another for a Brooklyn Net that has been a frequent flier in the NBA best bets column.

Let’s break down the picks:

NBA best bets record to date

NBA best bets today

  • Sacramento Kings-Golden State Warriors First Half UNDER 121.5 (-110)
  • Eric Gordon OVER 2.5 3-Pointers Made (+110)
  • Royce O’Neale OVER 1.5 3-Pointers Made (-110)

Sacramento Kings-Golden State Warriors First Half UNDER 121.5 (-110)

This is my favorite prop bet in the Golden State Warriors-Sacramento Kings matchup, especially after how the first two games went.

Golden State’s defense is 28th in the NBA on the road, but it jumps all the way to No. 3 at home. Even with Draymond Green suspended, I think this number is way too high considering Game 1 and Game 2 finished with 116 and 110 first half points.

The Kings are the best UNDER team in the NBA as road dogs (15-5), so I wouldn’t be shocked if this first half gets off to a slow start, similar to the first two games of this series.

Eric Gordon OVER 2.5 3-Pointers Made (+110)

Eric Gordon has seen a ton of volume from beyond the arc in this series, taking 16 3-pointers through the first two games, hitting seven of them.

Now, Gordon gets to head back home for the Clips after clearing this number in each of his first two games of the series. He’s also played over 30 minutes in each of the first two games, a big uptick from his regular season usage.

Phoenix is a bit of a smaller team, which helps keep Gordon on the floor since there aren’t many defensive mismatches.

At plus money, Gordon is a value to go OVER this number if he’s going to attempt 7+ shots from deep per night.

Royce O’Neale OVER 1.5 3-Pointers Made (-110)

The Brooklyn Nets took a ton more 3-pointers in Game 2 of this series, and while they didn’t hit them at a high clip, it kept them in the game longer against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Royce O’Neale (2-for-9 from 3) was one of the players who attempted shots from deep at volume, and he also played 35 minutes for the Nets in the game, matching up at times with Joel Embiid.

Brooklyn knows it has to shoot the ball well from 3 to stay competitive, and O’Neale (38.9 percent from 3 this season) has been solid for the team from deep, hitting multiple shots from 3 in 13 of his last 17 games.

As long as O’Neale is seeing minutes in the mid-20s, he should attempt a decent amount of 3s, as he’s averaged 2.1 makes on 5.5 attempts per game this season.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
