Denver Nuggets finished their 2021-22 regular season with a 48-34 record. Denver lost in the opening round of the playoffs to the Golden State Warriors. Utah Jazz finished the season at 49-33, fifth place in Western Conference. For the sixth straight season, Utah lost to Dallas Mavericks in first round.

Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordon, Michael Porter Jr. and Christian Braun are the players who could play for Denver this season. Jamal Murray is back after a torn ACL and averaged a career-high 21.2 points per game in his 42 games in 2020-21. Denver averaged 112.7 points and allowed 110.4 points last season, while Utah allowed 112 points.

Donovan Mitchell was traded away. Utah received Lauri Markkanen and Collin Sexton in exchange. Mike Conley has been solid in his three seasons with Utah. Kelly Olynyk should see some consistent time this season. Utah ranked seventh in average scoring last season and seventh giving up 107.6 points per game.

Denver is better than Jazz. The number might be a bit too large.
