NBA Picks February 13th

Miami Heatvs. Milwaukee Bucks

Total: 229

To say the Miami Heat will be undermanned for their trip to Milwaukee on Tuesday is a bit of an understatement. Jimmy Butler, Terry Rozier, Josh Richardson, and Duncan Robinson will all miss tomorrow’s game. And the Bucks just so happen to be one of the best home teams this season, going 22-6 inside the Fiserv Forum. Bucks -6.5 is the play. And let’s sprinkle some on the Over – I think 229 is a bit too low for a Bucks game.

Best Bet: Bucks -6.5 (-111); Heat/Bucks Over 229 (-111)

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Portland Trail Blazers

Spread: Timberwolves -9
Total: 214.5

One of the worst home teams, the Portland Trail Blazers (9-15 at the Moda Center this season), host one of the best road teams, the Minnesota Timberwolves (17-11 on the road) on Tuesday night. And to make matters worse for the Blazers, they have seven players either out or questionable for tomorrow, including four of their top six. I don’t care that this is the second night of a back-to-back on the road for the T-Wolves, they’ll cover for us. And this line is way too low in my eyes, so I’m playing the Over.

Best Bet: Timberwolves -9 (-111); Timberwolves/Trail Blazers Over 214.5 (-111)
