NBA predictions, picks, odds Monday: Nets vs. Magic, Thunder vs. Pelicans

After a long holiday weekend, the NBA is back with our picks against the spread. Nine of the 10 home teams are favored at BetMGM, but only half of those favorites are dealing more than 2.5 points. Monday's game is a big game because of injury reports.

Nets are betting 11.5 on Monday against Magic. Thunder are going to play Pelicans. Kings are also betting 1.

Nets are 8-5 straight up and 4th in net rating since Kyrie Irving's suspension. Sunday's win over the Trail Blazers was the sixth double-digit victory in 13 games since Irving rejoined the team on Nov. 20. Orlando has lost four straight games and has eight players listed on Monday's injury report. Nets are the favorite at 11.5 points.

Pelicans have seen incredible highs and lows this season. They were 11-8 at the start of the season, but they lost 21-point to the Grizzlies on Sunday. CJ McCollum and Brandon Ingram are injured, so they won't play against the Thunder. The Thunder are 6-2 ATS as a road underdog and 10-6 ATCW when catching points.

Phoenix Suns have been without Chris Paul since he got injured in a loss to Philadelphia. The Suns are 6-4 with a 2-5 ATS record as favorites. Kings had won seven straight games before losing the final two games of a three-game road trip.
