NBA preseason odds: Revisiting futures before training camp

The NBA season starts in less than a month. The futures odds will become the official preseason odds. Boston Celtics are the odds-on favourite to win the title.

This month is the last chance to get futures bets in before the lines start moving. NBA preseason odds are updated daily.

The Milwaukee Bucks are the official NBA preseason favorite. Denver Nuggets are a long shot at +1800. Cleveland is the favourite long-shot. Boston and Los Angeles are more of a stay-away bets.   The Lakers are not worth betting on. They are just as good as the Bucks.

Luka Doncic is worth a bet. Giannis Antetokounmpo is a good bet as well. Jayson Tatum is also worth taking a flier on.

Paolo Banchero is the odds-on favorite for the Rookie of the Year. Nikola Jovic is a long shot, but Miami loves him. He's a high IQ, high versatility guy on a team that develops well.

Anfernee Simons and Malcolm Brogdon are the only players with good odds to win the Sixth Man of the Year award. Tyler Herro would be a repeat winner. Jordan Poole's odds aren't tasty enough. Bones Hyland is always going to be on the floor with a minimum of two scorers better than him.

Anthony Edwards is still the official pick for the 22-23 NBA Most Improved Player. Jalen Brunson and R.J. Barrett are great prospects for New York Knicks.

Milwaukee, Denver and Miami should all coast to division titles. Golden State is the favourite to win the West. Philadelphia has the talent and star power to make the finals. The odds are longer for the Western Conference.

Before training camp, play safe and don't chase.
