NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (1/19)

Welcome to a five-game NBA slate where I’ll provide my favorite same-game parlays for your liking. It’s been a successful season so far and I’d love to keep it going. Hopefully, you had ‘successfully betting NBA player props’ as one of your New Year’s resolutions, and we can get a jump start.

Here are our other best bets for Thursday:

With the smaller slate, I have only two SGP’s, but I am a big fan of both of them.

Chicago Bulls at Detroit Pistons

  • Leg 1: Ayo Dosunmu 9+ Points (+115)
  • Leg 2: Jaden Ivery 2+ Three-Pointers Made (+145)
  • Leg 3: Killian Hayes UNDER 12.5 Points (+105)

In a game with a 236.5 point total, I imagine the Bulls to outperform offensive expectations againsty the second-worst defense in the league in a slight pace-up spot for Chicago and their 12th-ranked offense.

Dosunmu is the first Bull I believe to target for scoring. He’s averaged 9.5 points per game this season and he’s hit a bit of a lull of late, bringing his point prop total down much further than it should be.

Jaden Ivey, however, will need to be taking extra shots in order to keep up with Chicago tonight and he’s had a higher usage rate of late. This is a value-based prop so it may be a bit of a stretch, but it’s a solid long-run play.

The Pistons’ 26th-ranked offense should struggle tonight, and the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet sees Hayes’ under-point total as one of the best values on the slate, and I’m going to continue trusting that.

Parlay Odds: +800

Philadelphia 76ers at Portland Trail Blazers

  • Leg 1: Damian Lillard UNDER 30.5 Points (+105)
  • Leg 2: Joel Embiid 4+ Assists (+120
  • Leg 3: James Harden OVER 20.5 Points (+100

For a bit more realistic SGP, you have a 1.5-point spread in the 76ers-Trail Blazers game that should be fantastic.

It is tough to bet against Lillard but his point total is way too high. I figured it would be closer to 27 or 28 so if you care to feel a bit riskier you can bet him under 29 or 28 points against the third-ranked defense in the league.

For the second two legs, I’m going for a semi-correlated play with the Embiid-Harden combo. This game will be a bit slower paced but Embiid is a capable facilitator who I imagine will have plenty of opportunity to kick it out to Harden. The 76ers’ big man has averaged over four assists a game so getting the odds at +120 is a great value. The 76ers’ sixth-ranked offense should show out tonight and I expect them to run through Embiid and Harden.
