NBA Teaser Picks: Basketball Bets, Odds to Consider on DraftKings Sportsbook for January 11

There’s a new Teaser tool in the DraftKings Sportsbook Stats Hub. Check it out to make your own Teaser plays for NBA and NFL games.

The tool allows us to toggle the tease total to see how a play has performed against various numbers, but I’ll be sticking to the default of 4 points to ensure at least -110 odds.

Teaser odds: +140

BOS +8.5

The Celtics find themselves on the second leg of a back-to-back after an OT win vs. Minnesota. Even without the OT finish, it’d be understandable for the Celtics to be dogs in this setting. But being the underdog on Thursday only further helps this play’s case.

When playing on the second leg of a back-to-back, the Celtics are 4-2 ATS. Half of those games have come when they were on the road, and Boston has maintained the same level of success, going 2-1 ATS in those games.

As for their underdog status, the C’s have covered the four-point teaser in each of the last 11 games they were playing as underdogs.

Moving over to the Bucks’ side of this game, they’re only 2-4 ATS when playing an opponent that’s on the second leg of a back-to-back. Focus on just the home games that apply, and they’re 1-2 ATS. Focus on just the games in which they were rested, and they’re 2-3 ATS. No matter how you spin it, giving the Celtics extra points here is huge.

Knicks ML

This one is pretty cut and dry. Turning the Knicks into a moneyline play while they’re favored by four points is asking them to simply continue to do what they’ve done all season — take advantage of the opponents they’re expected to beat. New York is 15-4 straight-up when playing as a favorite. When that opponent is rested, the Knicks’ success rate does dip a bit to 11-3, but that’s far from a number to scoff at.

Dallas, on the other hand, isn’t exactly the best when playing as a dog. Against the spread, they’re just 7-8 as an underdog. Straight-up, they’re only 6-9 as a underdog. Plus, the Knicks have covered the four-point teaser the last six times they’ve played in Dallas.
