Nest Romps in Beldame
Nest won the GII Beldame S. at Aqueduct by 9 3/4 lengths. Nest is the favorite for the GI Breeders' Cup Distaff at Keeneland next month. She is trained by Curlin and trained at Saratoga by Mike Repole. She will be joined by Chocolate Gelato, Hopeful and Forte at the Breeder's Cup. They are expected to be the top two or three favorite. Nest Romps in Beldame won the Belmont The Big A on Sunday. The mare was bred to Curlin this spring. She was purchased by co-breeder Ashview Farm for $400,000 at the 2017 Keeneland November sale. The horse's lifetime record is 10-7-2-1, $1.873,050.
