Nets negotiated a trade for Ben Simmons with unknown Western Conference team. Los Angeles Lakers would be better off trading for Irving. Myles Turner has also suggested a move to L.A. as well. Anthony Davis is injured and the Lakers need to improve their perimeter shooting. The Nets lack team chemistry and are talking to the ADL about disciplining Irving, who made anti-Semitic comments.
