New 3-Team NBA Trades Where Everyone Wins
Jazz get T.J. McConnell, James Bouknight, Jordan Clarkson, Myles Turner and Buddy Hield from Charlotte. Pacers get Gordon Hayward, Mason Plumlee, a 2023 first-round pick from Denver, 2025 first round pick and a second-rounder from Memphis. The Jazz will get firsts for Jordan, Conley, Bogdanović and Bouksnek. The Pacers will receive a top-five protected pick. Hornets will give up three first rounds to get three draft picks. They will also get two veterans. It's a steep price for the Hornets, but it's worth it.
Nets will try to get Ben Simmons, Kyrie Irving and Durant to play together. Rockets will get Eric Gordon, Maurice Harkless, Jalen Johnson, Day'Ron Sharpe and a 2023 first-round pick from Brooklyn. Hawks will receive Ben Simeons, David Nwaba and Edmond Sumner. Before missing all of last season, Ben had totaled 2,217 rebounds and 2.127 assists in 275 career games. Oscar Robertson and Magic Johnson are the only players in league history who matched or exceeded both marks in their first 275 games, while Trae Young and Dejounte Murray might make up the best perimeter duo.
Lakers receive Mike Conley, Bojan Bogdanović and Doug McDermott. Jazz receive Russell Westbrook, Jakob Pöltl, a 2027 first-round pick from L.A., a 2025 second-rounder from Utah and a 2020 second round pick. Spurs receive a first rounder from Los Angeles and two second rounds from San Antonio. The Lakers are getting three high-end floor spacers around LeBron James. The Jazz are acquiring assets to accumulate more assets. San Antonians are replacing Pøltls and McDermott with future picks. They are also replacing their veterans with young players.
