NFL FanDuel promo code: Get $1,000 no-sweat first bet on Broncos vs. Cardinals

Catena Media provides exclusive sports betting content to AL.com, including picks, analysis, tools and sportsbook offers to help bettors get in on the action. Please wager responsibly.

Two teams looking for a fresh start, the Denver Broncos and Arizona Cardinals, battle in their preseason opener, and you can start your campaign with our FanDuel promo code, granting a $1,000 no-sweat first bet.

It will be the debut for both head coaches, Sean Payton taking over the Broncos after a long run with the Saints and Jonathan Gannon moving to the Cardinals after serving as the Eagles defensive coordinator.

Broncos fans are optimistic that Payton can unlock the magic missing from quarterback Russell Wilson last year and turn the team around.

We get our first look at both revamped squads Friday at State Farm Stadium, and our FanDuel promo code link can get you a $1,000 bonus while enjoying the game.

FanDuel has you covered for the contest, refunding 100 percent of your initial stake up to $1,000 if your initial wager loses.

Here’s how to get going with FanDuel:

  • Fill out all required fields. No specific promo code is needed.
  • Make an initial deposit of $10 or more into your new account.
  • Place an opening wager on Broncos vs. Cardinals or any other qualifying market, and your entire stake of up to $1,000 will be refunded in bonus bets if it loses.

Thanks to this no-sweat first bet from FanDuel, you can watch the game comfortably, knowing you either win big or get a second chance.

Bonus bet credits will drop into your account within 72 hours and are valid for seven days. You can stake as much of the bonus on each follow-up wager with FanDuel Sportsbook.

Full terms and conditions can be read by following any of our FanDuel promo code links.

Payton has said that the Broncos starters will play, including Wilson, as he tries to shake away the bad vibes from last year’s 5-12 season. Payton also made headlines this week by saying he doesn’t want his players wearing “Gilligan hats” on the sidelines during the game to demonstrate their focus.

Arizona went 4-13 last season, losing their last seven games thanks primarily to quarterback Kyler Murray going down with a torn ACL in December. Murray hopes to return at some point this season.

In the meantime, the Cardinals have four quarterbacks in training camp but will likely go with Colt McCoy as the starter. Keep an eye on rookie quarterback Clayton Tune, who should get some reps Friday night.

The Cardinals are last on the FanDuel futures board to win the Super Bowl at +18000, while the Broncos are middle of the pack at +4500.

As of Thursday, Denver was favored by 5.5 points and -240 on the moneyline. The over/under figure was 37.5, a little high for a preseason game.

Denver went 2-1 in preseason last year, while the Cardinals went 1-2. Arizona averaged over 25 points last preseason.

Along with its $1,000 no-sweat first bet offer, FanDuel has plenty of ongoing promotions for players to enjoy, including:

  • Odds boosts: Enhanced odds and payouts for select markets.
  • Dinger Tuesdays: Bet $25 or more on an MLB player to hit a home run and get an additional $5 bonus for every homer hit by either team in that game.
  • Referral bonus: Invite friends to sign up for FanDuel, and for each one who does so through your referral link, you’ll each receive $50 in bonus bets for the sportsbook and $25 in casino site credits.
