The Eagles soar into Washington atop the NFC as the conference’s only 6-1 team, while the Commanders have shown frailties and glaring weaknesses on both sides of the ball during their recent malaise that has seen them lose four of five.

We detail two props for the divisional clash, which you can lock in after claiming up to $4,900 in welcome bonuses with the below sportsbook promo code links.

The Eagles are rounding into top form as we approach the midway mark of the 2023 season, a foreboding prospect for the out-of-sorts Commanders, who lost 14-7 to the Giants at MetLife in Week 7.

Washington played Philadelphia tight in the Week 4 overtime defeat and will need a repeat performance to keep this one close, especially considering how well Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown are playing.

The Eagles are 11-0 against bottom-10 pass defenses since the 2021 season, the NFL’s best record. That’s a worrying thought for the Commanders, who have the league’s fifth-worst pass defense, allowing 248.4 yards per game.

Philadelphia scored on 25 percent of its drives last week, the NFL’s highest clip, and will look to carry that momentum into Washington.

Conversely, the Commanders will hope to stop the rot from spreading further. Washington only scored on 7 percent of its drives in the loss to the G-Men, the league’s most anemic Week 7 output. Overall, the Eagles have scored on 48 percent of their possessions in seven games thus far, the NFL’s most prolific rate.

Washington’s defense has allowed the opposition to score on 44 percent of their drives, the NFL’s worst record. The Commanders’ offensive line hasn’t been any better, allowing a league-high 40 sacks. Look for the Eagles to continue their dominance and secure a victory. The Commanders will be in a particularly sour mood and should find a way to keep it competitive, within the prognosticated seven-point spread.

A.J. Brown’s outrageous streak of amassing at least 125 receiving yards stands at five games. The wideout’s record-breaking success has to end at some point. Don’t count on that against one of the league’s worst pass defenses.

In the last five games, Brown has 131 yards, 175 yards, 127 yards, 131 yards, and 137 yards. It’s an extremely high rate of production that should continue in Washington. Brown is dominant in every facet. If he’s unable to get separation, he overcomes the corners and secondary with pure power and physicality.

The Commanders’ secondary isn’t good enough to neutralize the Brown threat, especially considering how often Hurts is targeting his all-star wide receiver. Brown had 175 yards in the overtime victory over the Commanders last time they met in Philadelphia.

The short odds on this prop will diminish the potential return unless you up the ante and increase your stake, a solid call considering the likeliness of it paying out. Brown has caught under six receptions just once this season, the infamous Week 2 Thursday night encounter against the Vikings.

He has since exceeded the 5.5-catch mark in every contest, securing nine receptions twice and 10 in last week’s home victory over the Dolphins.

The Eagles are renowned for their quick starts, scoring first in 18 of their previous 22 games. They have scored on 47 percent of their drives in the first quarter this season, tied for third-best in the NFL.

Meanwhile, the Commanders’ defense has allowed scores on 53 percent of opponent drives in the first quarter, the NFL’s worst mark. Look for that trend to continue in Washington on Sunday.
