NHL Playoffs 2022: Odds, Hot Takes, Top Storylines for Oilers vs. Avalanche

The Colorado Avalanche and Edmonton Oilers are going to play for the Stanley Cup this year. The best-of-seven series starts Tuesday night in Denver. Colorado won the first round and the second round. Edmonton won its first-round series against the Los Angeles Kings and then the Calgary Flames.

Edmonton Oilers and Colorado Avalanche are playing in the Western Conference Final. Game 1 is Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET. Games 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are on TNT. If needed, the games are played on June 8, 10 and 12.

Edmonton and Colorado are both averaging 4.33 goals in the Stanley Cup playoffs. Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl and Evander Kane are the top offensive players for both teams. Nathan MacKinnon has been one of Colorado's top players this season. The Avs have Cale Makar, Gabriel Landeskog and Mikko Rantanen as other offensive contributors.

Edmonton and Colorado are going to play each other in the Western Conference Final. The Avalanche won two of their three regular-season meetings with the Oilers. The Oilers have won six of the last seven games. Colorado has won at least four goals in nine of its 12 playoff games and won the first-round series against the Kings.
