Nottingham Forest kicked off its English Premier League season last Saturday with a 2-0 loss to reigning Premier League runner-up Arsenal at Emirates Stadium in London. Arsenal surged to an early 2-0 lead on first-half goals from Eddie Nketiah and Bukayo Saka, and Nottingham Forest pulled to within 2-1 in the 82nd minute on a goal by Taiwo Awoniyi. Arsenal controlled possession for 78 percent of that match and fired off 15 shots (7 on goal) to just six (two on goal) by Nottingham Forest. The club will look for a more competitive effort tonight.

Sheffield United returned to the Premier League after a two-year absence and dropped a 1-0 match to Crystal Palace in its season opener. Crystal Palace jumped to that 1-0 lead in the 49th minute and Sheffield had an opportunity it couldn’t convert late to set the stage for an opening loss in the side’s first Premier League match since finishing second in the English Championship League and earning a promotion this season.

Nottingham Forest is a favorite to register its first English Premier League win with -115 odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Sheffield United goes off with +360 odds while a draw is listed at +240.
