Novak Djokovic was detained in Carlton, Australia, a year ago. He was about to be deported and miss the Australian Open. The new government overturned the ban in November. Djkovic has returned to Melbourne and is playing in the tournament. He won the lead-in tournament in Adelaide. On Friday he played a practice match in Rod Laver Arena. A capacity crowd of 15,000 bought tickets in under an hour. 41 percent of people in a poll said Djakovic shouldn't be allowed to stay in Australia and play in Australian open. It's a record for a Grand Slam event.
