Parramatta Eels won the NRL grand final against the Cowboys. Parramata Eel's players disembarked from their private jet in Townsville. They didn't wear the traditional team kit.
Joseph Suaalii will play for Samoa at the Rugby League World Cup instead of Australia. Chad Randall has left Manly to join Cameron Ciraldo as head coach of the Bulldogs. The Dragons will not present a Community Award at its upcoming presentation evening. The Bulldogs are falling apart after the inclusivity jersey fiasco. It's a shame for Des Hasler that Chad left the Sea Eagles. He was Des's first recruit. Cameron was his first coach. They were neighbours. There was a discussion about the recruitment of Chad. Des wanted Chad to stay at Manley. But Chad wanted to make his name away from the club. His dad Terry was the coach at Sea Eagle.
As for being a first-grade coach, he's not 100 per cent there yet.
The NRL's planned US venture will be discussed next week. Chicago is the likely venue. The opening round of the 2023 season will take place in America. Ray Warren: Calling Time will screen on Friday, September 30 at 7.30pm on Channel Nine.
